Who it suits
Anyone who has received an intimation, mismatch query, or scrutiny notice and wants a considered reply rather than a guess.
If that does not describe you, say so before you commit — there is usually a lighter filing that does the job, and we would rather point you at it.
Cost
What it costs
Our professional fee
from ₹3,999
+ government fees at actuals
What we charge for the work itself — preparing your paperwork, filing it, and following it through to the authority's response. Confirmed in writing before anything starts.
Government & statutory fees
At actuals
Charged separately from our fee and paid to the relevant authority. They vary by state, by authorised capital, and by the slab you fall into, so we confirm the exact figures once we know your specifics.
Professional fees only. Any tax, interest, or penalty the department finally determines is payable by you at actuals, directly to the department.
We do not quote the two together as one number. They are charged by different parties and only one of them is ours. Fees shown on this site are indicative pending confirmation, and you will have both figures in writing before you decide.
Process
How it runs
Scope and quote
We confirm what you actually need, what our professional fee covers, and which government fees will apply in your case — in writing, before any work begins.
Documents
We send a checklist, then review everything you send back before it goes anywhere. Most delays start with a document, not with the authority.
Preparation and filing
We prepare and file the Income Tax Notice Response paperwork, then track the application and respond to any queries raised on it.
Initial read and a plan within 2 working days; the reply is filed inside the deadline stated on the notice.
Handover
You receive every acknowledgement and certificate the authority issues, along with a plain-English note on what falls due next and when.
Processing time is set by the relevant authority, not by us. We can file promptly and follow up, but the approval itself sits with the department handling it.
Questions
Asked before you asked
I received a notice — does it mean something is wrong?
Not necessarily. Many notices are automated intimations about a mismatch or an arithmetic difference. The first job is to identify which section it was issued under, because that changes the response entirely.
Can I ignore it if the amount is small?
No. Notices carry a response deadline, and silence is treated as agreement with the department's figure, which then grows with interest. Replying is almost always cheaper than ignoring.
Will I have to visit the income-tax office?
Most proceedings are now faceless and handled through the e-filing portal, so we prepare and submit everything online. We tell you at the start if your case is one of the exceptions.

Ask before you commit to anything.
Ask about the fee, the documents, or whether Income Tax Notice Response is the right filing for your situation — in plain English, and you get the answer before you get a recommendation.
