What’s included
- Public search of the trademark register for conflicting marks
- Guidance on the right class or classes for your goods and services
- Preparation of the application and the statement of use
- Filing with the Trade Marks Registry (Form TM-A)
- MSME or startup declaration where it reduces the government fee
- Updates as the application moves through examination and publication
Everything above is covered by the professional fee. Anything outside it is quoted before we start it, never after.
Who it suits
Founders and small businesses that want their brand name, logo, or tagline on the register before they scale.
If that does not describe you, say so before you commit — there is usually a lighter filing that does the job, and we would rather point you at it.
Cost
What it costs
Our professional fee
from ₹5,999
+ government fees at actuals
What we charge for the work itself — preparing your paperwork, filing it, and following it through to the authority's response. Confirmed in writing before anything starts.
Government & statutory fees
At actuals
Charged separately from our fee and paid to the relevant authority. They vary by state, by authorised capital, and by the slab you fall into, so we confirm the exact figures once we know your specifics.
Professional fees only. The Trade Marks Registry fee is charged separately at actuals, per class, and is lower for individuals, startups, and MSMEs than for other applicants.
We do not quote the two together as one number. They are charged by different parties and only one of them is ours. Fees shown on this site are indicative pending confirmation, and you will have both figures in writing before you decide.
Process
How it runs
Scope and quote
We confirm what you actually need, what our professional fee covers, and which government fees will apply in your case — in writing, before any work begins.
Documents
We send a checklist, then review everything you send back before it goes anywhere. Most delays start with a document, not with the authority.
Preparation and filing
We prepare and file the Trademark Registration paperwork, then track the application and respond to any queries raised on it.
Filed in 3–5 working days, and you may use the ™ symbol from filing. Examination, publication, and registration follow the Registry's own schedule, which commonly runs a year or more.
Handover
You receive every acknowledgement and certificate the authority issues, along with a plain-English note on what falls due next and when.
Processing time is set by the relevant authority, not by us. We can file promptly and follow up, but the approval itself sits with the department handling it.
Questions
Asked before you asked
How soon can I use the ™ symbol?
As soon as the application is filed. The ® symbol may only be used once the Registry has actually granted registration.
What is a trademark class?
The register is divided into 45 classes by type of goods or services, and protection applies only in the classes you file in. We advise on the classes based on what you actually sell.
Does a search guarantee my mark will be accepted?
No. A search reduces the risk of an obvious conflict, but the Registry examines every application and can still object. We tell you honestly how strong your mark looks before you spend on it.

AI advisor
Ask before you commit to anything.
Ask about the fee, the documents, or whether Trademark Registration is the right filing for your situation — in plain English, and you get the answer before you get a recommendation.
The advisor gives general guidance, not binding legal or tax advice, and it does not file anything on your behalf. A chartered accountant reviews anything that matters.
